Insomniac Celebrates Successful Nocturnal Festival

Twenty-five thousand music fans filled the lush grassy fields at Apache Pass in Downtown, Texas, a beautiful outdoor campground/venue in Rockdale, 60 minutes outside of Austin, Texas, for the first annual Texas installment of Insomniac Events' Nocturnal Festival.

Insomniac estimated festival attendance at 12,000 on Saturday, September 4th, and at 13,000 on Sunday, September 5th. Insomniac credits the fans along with the hard work of the artists, production staff, security team, support from local officials and the phenomenal setting for making this Nocturnal Festival such a successful event.

This year's Texas lineup featured four outdoor stages of groundbreaking bands and DJs including Disco Biscuit, Lotus, Pretty Lights, Kid Cudi, Armin Van Buuren, Laidback Luke and Roni Size.
