Aston Martin Unveils Vantage S
Aston Martin has trotted out another special edition, the V8 Vantage S, to be formally unveiled in early March at the 2011 Geneva Auto Show. Available as a coupe or convertible, the V8 Vantage S will be priced from just over $160,000, with the first European deliveries to begin in March.
The Vantage S, which takes its inspiration from the V12 Vantage supercar, packs in 19-inch alloy wheels and a lower carbonfibre bumper to allow more air intake.
While the exterior is laden with wider wheels and an attractive rear spoiler, the real powerful performance comes from the inside, which is fitted with a 4.7-litre improved V8 engine that can produce 430bhp and 361lb.ft of torque, put comfortably near the back wheels through the seven-speed Sportshift II automatic transmission.
