Skillz: The DJ Game Launching Sept. 8

Playpen Studios today announced that Skillz: The DJ Game will be hitting the iPad on Thursday, Sept. 8, 2011. Those who can’t wait to see Skillz in action are in luck, as Playpen also released this (below) over-the-shoulder, hands-on video footage of the game being played.


No word yet on price, however the official Skillz website indicates that Android and PC versions are also in the works, which will be available from the Android Marketplace and Steam, respectively. According to the FAQ, the PC version will support the Xbox 360 Controller for Windows, and will also allow players to mix, record and upload songs in a mysterious "Freemode."
