Google Unveils $199 Nexus 7 Tablet

Google today announced the Nexus 7, a new Android 4.1 Jelly Bean tablet that will feature a 7-inch display with 1280 x 800 resolution, Wi-Fi, a 1.3-megapixel camera, and a quad-core Tegra 3 processor.


The device will be the first to ship with the new Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system, and will also be the first to include Google's Chrome browser out of the box. The two models will cost $199 and $249 for the 8-GB and 16-GB versions, respectively, goes on sale in July, and can be ordered directly from the Google Play Store.
