French carmaker Citroen unveiled today the Citroen Metropolis concept which will be premiered at the Shanghai World Fair from 1st of May 2010. The Citroen Metropolis has been designed by the company's Shanghai styling center and embodies a sleek limousine concept.
The Citroen Metropolis is powered by a hybrid power train featuring a 2-litre V6 petrol engine developing 272bhp and 375Nm of torque and an electric motor with 95bhp. The car is also fitted with a 7-speed, dual-clutch electronic gearbox and four-wheel drive.
The carmaker hasn't announced yet whether or not the Citroen Metropolis will go into production.
