Gaiking Teaser Trailer!

In the 1970s, Mattel released a "Shogun Warriors" toy line that consisted of several imported Japanese toys that were based on a popular anime series. A bit later Marvel adapted the property into a 20-issue comic book.

AICN has now learned that one of the characters from the series, Gaiking, will be heading to the big screen (check out the teaser trailer below). The rest of the Shogun Warriors will soon follow. The first film is being set for a 2012 release under the supervision of director Matthew Gratzner.
