Luc Besson's (Leon, The Fifth Element) Adele Blanc-Sec stars Louise Bourgoin as Adele, a fetching popular novelist pursued by dumb cops, monsters, rancorous villains and wannabe lovers. The film is based on Jacques Tardi's classic comic book series and is set between 1911 and 1922 in a Paris traumatized by World War I.
Les Aventures Extrodinaire d'Adele Blanc-Sec (The Extraordinary Adventures of Adele Dry-White) opens in France on April 14th and is yet to pick up domestic distribution.
