'Men in Black III' to Hit Theaters in 3D

Here come the 'Men in Black' ... in 3D.

After weeks of Internet buzz, Columbia Pictures announced today that 'Men in Black III' will officially hit theaters on May 25, 2012, and that, yes, it will be in 3D.

Returning to the franchise: Walter F. Parkes and Laurie MacDonald, who will produce the film, and Barry Sonnenfeld, who will direct. Etan Cohen wrote the script, based on the comic book by Lowell Cunningham.

According to a network press release, the project, starring Will Smith, is expected to begin production in the fall. Tommy Lee Jones is reportedly in advanced negotiations to return as Agent Kay, while Josh Brolin is said to be in talks to play a "young Agent Kay."
