Image's Shinku Announced

Image Comics is being taken over by samurai and vampires - well, that’s the story coming out of Comic-Con and the Image Comics Show panel Friday, as a new ongoing series pitting vampire versus samurai was announced.


Shinku, by writer Ron Marz (Witchblade, Green Lantern) and Lee Moder (Painkiller Jane, Dragon Prince), tells the story of an epic confrontation between two feuding Japanese clans – one vampire, one human – and the modern day high-noon showdown with the last surviving human and an underground army of vampires.

Shinku is set to debut Spring 2011.
