Ableton Live Gets Awesome Touchscreen Interface!

Aggregat is a gesture-based digital audio workstation for sound production in Ableton Live 8.


The interface allows up to three people to create music collaboratively in one single set. According to developers, “Aggregat brings back the performative band-character into digital music: Instead of watching somebody (DJ) looking like he‘s checking emails, the audience experiences a show.”

Aggregat was was designed by studio nø: Antonio de Luca, Daniel Dormann and Andreas Unteidig. Aggregat is still in the experimental phase.
