Deadline.com is reporting that Disney has purchased the rights to “Cowboy Ninja Viking” for the big screen. Cowboy Ninja Viking is based on a graphic novel by A.J. Leiberman and artist Riley Rossmo by Image Comics.
The story is about a multiple personality patient trained to be an assassin with the different skills and personalities of a cowboy, ninja and viking. The patient later tries to bring down the organization that made him.
The script will be written by Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese, the same writers who brought us "Zombieland" and working on the screenplay for "Deadpool."
