Captain America Movie Comic Coming Soon

Premiering Sunday - the same day as the first trailer airs for the movie Captain America: The First Avenger during the Super Bowl telecast - will be Captain America: First Vengeance, a new eight-part digital comic book series.

The first issue will be available free that day, online only, at captainamerica.com, followed by a release Feb. 8 on the Marvel Comics iPad app.

Much of First Vengeance will deal with Captain America's origin story - along with an action-packed mission to Nazi-occupied Europe. The series will also introduce other characters fans will see in the movie - such as the Red Skull and Cap's sidekick Bucky Barnes.
