Amazon Launches Unlimited Streaming!

Taking aim at Netflix, Amazon today added free unlimited video streaming to its Amazon Prime program, which offers unlimited two-day shipping for $79 a year.


Movies and TV shows can be watched instantly on a computer, some Internet-connected TVs, Blu-ray players and set-top boxes compatible with Amazon Instant Video.

Amazon says its current library of 5,000 movies and TV shows includes films such as The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo trilogy, Amadeus, Syriana, and Chariots of Fire. TV shows available include Doctor Who, Farscape, and Fawlty Towers.
