T-Mobile Launching 3D Ready Tablet

T-Mobile will launch a tablet this spring that will feature 3D support, the wireless carrier has announced.

The G-Slate tablet manufactured by LG will run on T-Mobile's 4G network and include Google's Android 3.0 operating system, designed to work best with tablet PCs.

The device includes a high-definition, 8.9-inch multitouch display and the ability to watch 3D videos. Users can capture 3D video with a rear-facing, stereoscopic camera, and record video in 1080p HD. Users are required to wear glasses (included) to view 3D images on the tablet, says a statement from T-Mobile.

The G-Slate also has a front-facing camera for video chat, 32 GB of internal memory, Adobe Flash support, and a built-in gyroscope, accelerometer and adaptive lighting. T-Mobile did not provide details on how much the G-Slate will cost.
